MONDAY, FEBRUARY 17

Beginning at 5:30 p.m. with weigh-in, Weight Watchers will meet at Ray County Health Department, 820 E. Lexington St., Richmond.

At 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets at the United Christian Presbyterian Church, 501 N. Spartan Dr. in Richmond.

At 7 p.m., Faith in Life on Life’s Terms support group will meet at the Richmond Assembly of God Church in the church basement.  This is for addicts and non-addicts alike. All are welcome. Call Matt at 816-868-1743 for more information.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 18

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., AARP Tax Foundation Offering Free tax preparation service for Seniors and families with low to middle income. Trained AARP volunteers will be available at the Ray County Library, 215 E Lexington in Richmond; If you are disabled or over 65, you may be eligible for a refund from the State of MO for your Rent or Real Estate Tax even if your income is below that requiring you to file a return. Bring a rent statement from your landlord or your paid real estate tax receipt, income statements for Social Security, Interest and Pensions. Also bring proof of payments for any supplemental health and /or drug insurance premiums.

At 11:30 a.m., Richmond Kiwanis meets at the 19th Hole with social time beginning at 11:30 and meeting at noon.

At 4 p.m., American Legion will host bingo at the Ray County Veterans Building, 312 Clark St., Richmond. Doors open at 4 p.m. with the first game beginning at 6 p.m.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 19

From 4 to 5 p.m., Harvester’s Mobile Food Pantry will be delivering to Hardin United Methodist Church in Hardin. For information or questions please call 660-398-4532.

From 6 to 8 p.m., First Baptist Church, Richmond will host Celebrate Recovery led by Mike Bliss.  For general information, 816-776-2296.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20

At 9 a.m., Connect with your well deserved VA Benefits.  Hearing problems? Agent orange? Meetings will be every Thursday at the Veterans Building, 312 Clark St.  Contact Jim Rippy for more information, 816-739-9899.

From 6 to 9 p.m., the fourth of six lectures on the U.S. Constitution will be live streamed at Van Till Family Farm Winery, 13986 Hwy. C, Rayville. There are two lectures per night. Cost per person is $45 and includes a workbook. Contact Debbie at 816-776-2720.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 22

From 11 to ?, Hardin United Methodist Church will host a chili & soup dinner at the fellowship hall. Free will donation, with chili, soup, hot dogs, dessert and a drink provided.  Carry out available.

The Ray County Democrats Club will meet the 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 3, at The 19th Hole at Shirkey Golf Course.

The Richmond High School Theatre Department is currently in rehearsals for their spring play, The Diary of Anne Frank. Our production runs March 7 and 8 at 7:00 pm and March 9 at 1:30 pm at the Farris Theatre, Richmond, Missouri. Ticket prices are $10.00, $7.00 for senior citizens (55+), children under 5 are free.
