The Hardin-Central Lady Bulldogs bounced back from their first CLAA loss of the season at Hale last week to handle Breckenridge 72-25 Monday night.
The Lady Dawgs improved to 12-6 overall and 5-1 in league action behind the scoring efforts of Olivia Ellis who poured in a game-high 30 points. Ellis hit three of her 12 field goals from outside the 3-point arc. All eight Hardin-Central players scored in the contest.
Hardin-Central raced to a 20-6 lead after one period and then held the visiting Lady Bulldogs to a field goal and a free throw in the second quarter on the way to building a 38-9 cushion at the break. Hardin-Central then took a 58-19 lead into the final quarter.
