Three Bulldogs received statewide honors following Hardin-Central’s 9-2 season. The Bulldogs had a pair of players receive first-team All-State recognition on offense, with one named first-team defense. Hardin-Central also had one each on the second-team defense and second-team offense.
Sophomore running back Rhyler Estenbaum and senior lineman Michael Carpenter were both named first-team offense by the Missouri 8-man Coaches Association.
Estenbaum ended the season with 1,670 yards rushing on 169 carries with 31 touchdowns. Carpenter, a 6-1, 230-pound lineman, helped open holes for a Bulldog running attack that averaged just over 364 yards a game.
