Three Minutemen reached double figures to help Lexington down visiting Orrick 66-35 Thursday night. Lexington, now 5-2, grabbed a 21-9 lead after the first 8 minutes.
Jevon Williams, who hit for a game-high 25 points, paced Lexington’s opening surge with 11 points, while Nick Thompson added 6 of his 11 points in that quarter.
Corbin Conley hit one of his two 3-point buckets in the first period on his way to a 15-point effort. Mason Karnes paced Orrick (1-5) with 13 points, followed by Tanner Werle with 12.
Lexington took advantage of 25 Orrick turnovers in the contest, and shot 43 percent from the field while also holding a 36-23 rebounding edge.
