Dangerous driving, crash nets arrest

A Kansas City man was arrested by the Highway Patrol Wednesday after flipping his pick-up truck in a field and fleeing from law enforcement on Highway 13, near Crispin Street in Richmond.

Randall C. Peterman, 23, of Kansas City, Mo. was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant for a probation and parole violation by the Highway Patrol around 8:30 a.m. Additional charges are pending, according to Richmond Police Chief Chad Burnine. Peterman is currently being held at Ray County Jail with no bond, according to the Highway Patrol report.
