Lewis E. Claypole, 74, Polo, died Friday, Nov. 15, 2013 at North Kansas City Hospital.
He was born Sept. 14, 1939 to Samuel and Viola (Ketron) Claypole. Lewis worked at Lake City Ammunition Plant and also was a truck driver for the U.S. Postal Service. He was also a past member of the VFW in Polo.
Survivors: nephews, Randy McElwee, “wife Linda” and Christopher Tanner, “wife Helen”; and niece, Cathy Baker, “husband Don”.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mable Joan Claypole McElwee and Fern Willis.
