Jimmy Don Burnett
Jimmy Don Burnett, 66, of Polo, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013 at his home.
Jimmy was born Jan. 5, 1947, in Excelsior Springs. The son of Everett and Flora Evelyn (Fields) Burnett. He married Sharon S. Stone of Cowgill, Feb. 4, 1966; she survives of the home.
Additional survivors include: one daughter Lisa Tate and husband Lonnie of Polo, one brother Allen Burnett and wife Donna of Richmond, two grandchildren: Payton and Alex Tate.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Jeff Burnett.
Jimmy worked as a construction worker for DeCarlo Construction and Form Works Construction for 30 years until he retired in 2004. He was a member Carpenters Labor Union Local #1290. Jimmy lived most of his life in Polo. He was a member of Knoxville Community Church.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Knoxville Community Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 27, at the Knoxville Community Church, Knoxville, at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer. Thurman Funeral Home of Richmond, is in charge of the arrangements.
