Sophomore running back Dallas Reynolds ran for 124 yards and a pair of touchdowns Friday night to lead the Wellington-Napoleon Tigers to a 46-6 win over the Bearcats at Orrick.
The Tigers, now 2-4 in the I-70 and 2-6 overall, also got two more rushing touchdowns from quarterback Tristan Green, who completed 7 of 10 passes for another 206 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The Bearcats, now 0-8, had their best offensive night of the season as they rushed for 194 yards and added 27 more through the air. The Tigers ran for 223 yards on 25 carries.
Wellington-Napoleon scored on its second possession of the night with Reynolds reaching the end zone from 2 yards out, followed by the conversion pass. Aaron Schuster recovered the first of his two fumbles to set up the second Tiger score of the night with Green rushing in from the 13 for a 16-0 lead following the conversion.
