Everyone got to the Hardin-Central Homecoming dance a little bit earlier than expected Friday night. The Bulldogs rolled out to a 54-0 first-quarter lead over visiting Union Star at Lee Meador Field, and after building a 66-0 bulge at the intermission, the game was called.

The fourth-ranked Dawgs improved to 6-1 with the win, while handing Union Star its fifth loss in as many decisions.

Quarterback Sean Utley had a hand in the first four touchdowns of the night for Hardin-Central. Utley, who ended the night running for 122 yards on just 4 carries, and completing 3 of 4 passes for another 7 yards, opened the scoring with a 44-yard touchdown run on the first play from scrimmage. He then found Matt Hymiller for a 6-yard touchdown pass before adding touchdown runs of 24 and 31 yards.

Rhyler Estenbaum added 115 rushing yards to the Bulldog total on 7 carries and picked up his lone touchdown of the contest on a 30-yard run.
