Hardin-Central’s Riley Gorham grabbed another top-10 finish for the Bulldogs at Wednesday’s Richmond Invitational held at Southview Park. The Bulldog freshman finished seventh in the 5K-race with a time of 17 minutes, 18 seconds.

Christ Preparatory Academy captured two of the top three individual finishes on the way to winning the team crown over runner-up Platte County, 34-45. West Platte was a distant third with 131 points and Lawson grabbed fourth in the 14-team field with 146 points.

Kenneth Froebe set a new meet record with his winning time of 16:30.1 for Christ Prep, with Platte County’s Nathan Strauble grabbing second place in 16:39.9. Ryan Zitter of Christ Prep turned in the third-place time of 16:55.9.

Matthew Periman took 57th place with a time of 19:40.4, followed by Spencer Wheeler, who placed 70th in 20:22.2.
