Floyd Allen “Alley” Milligan, 65, of Hardin, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2013 at North Kansas City Hospital, North Kansas City, Mo.
Allen was born Dec. 21, 1947 in Regal, to Leo Grant and Mary Katherine (Stratton) Milligan. He married Brenda R. Stumph of Avalon, March 4, 1983; she survives of the home.
Floyd had worked construction as a painter and concrete worker for several years. He was of the Christian faith. He had lived in the Stet area most of his life before moving to Hardin.
Additional survivors include four sons, Jeff Milligan of Camdenton, Jimmy Milligan and his significant other, JayLynn Hendricks of Richmond, Devin Milligan of Stet, and Codi Milligan and his significant other, Chelsey Wood of Stet; two daughters, Tonya Milligan of Camdenton, and Alisha Milligan of the home; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Zelpha Milligan of Braymer, Dean and Linda Milligan of Richmond, Calvin and Dorothy Milligan of Braymer, Wendell and Teresa Milligan of Hardin, and Leon Milligan of Richmond; one sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Bill Bisbee of Richmond; five grandchildren, Malik Weizer, Jaxen Milligan, Sophia Pickering, Darrion McGaughlin and Elijah Milligan; several other grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard T. Milligan and Kenny Milligan and one sister Mildred Lee Pollard.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Floyd Allen Milligan Memorial Fund.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, at 2 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 5, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Inurnment will be at a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com
