Gloria M. Krokstrom, 68, of Richmond, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2013 at the Liberty Hospital in Liberty.
Gloria was born Dec. 30, 1944 in Sharp County, Ark. to Melvin Dale and Opal Ernestine (Gipson) Gann. She married David L. Krokstrom of Kansas City. Mo., Sept. 8, 1960. He survives of the home.
Gloria worked in shipping and receiving at Cramer Industries in Kansas City, Kan. for several years before she retired. She was of the Christian faith. She had lived in Independence, before moving to the Richmond area in 1998.
Additional survivors include; two daughters, Holly Krokstrom and her husband, James Cobb and Daun Warren, all of the home; two brothers, Danny Gann and his wife, Lyla of Oak Grove, and Ed Gann of Maynard, Ark.; one sister, Lynn Allen and her husband, John of Oak Grove; four grandchildren, Wesley VanDolah, Miles Warren, Chelsea Gorham and Jessica Warren; five great-grandchildren, Madison Warren, Kaylee VanDolah, Hazel Gorham, Wyatt Clevenger and Marcus Vroom.
In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by one son, Troy Krokstrom and one son-in-law, Marc Warren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer society.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Washington Cemetery in Independence. There will be no visitation.
