Emilee Brooke Hendricks-Ludeke, 12, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
Emilee was born in Liberty, Nov. 21, 2000. Emilee was going to be in 6th grade at Richmond Elementary. She got the oppurtunity to play basketball for the first time this winter and loved it. Emilee loved to sing and dance.
Emilee is survived by her mother Andrea Pearon, of the home, her father John Ludeke and step-mother Amanda Brunz of Kearney, her step-father Kelby Hendricks of Excelsior Springs, a brother Ethan Hendricks, two sisters; Alexus Hendricks and Morgan Ludeke, her grandparents; Joyce Lackey, Terry and Nancy Pearon, Bill and Cindy Brunz, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Emilee was preceded in death by her grandparents Sharon Clark, Larry Ludeke and Sheryl Peebles.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Aug. 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Richmond. Private family services will be Friday, Aug. 2, at 2 p.m. at the Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Excelsior Springs.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Haven House of St. Louis, Child Life Services Dept. of St. Louis Children’s Hospital or Children’s Mercy Hospital and/or First Baptist Church of Richmond.
