The Miss Ray County Scholarship Pageant is set for Saturday at 7 p.m. at the historic Farris Theatre.
Pageant director Lisa Reed said six contestants are vying for the title of Miss Ray County.
“We are so proud to have six very worthy contestants from Richmond and Lawson competing this year,” Reed said.
They are Ryan Burns, Jordan Kennedy, Korbin Millsap and Latoya Johnson, all from Richmond, and Sydney Cotton and Joy Payne from Lawson.
Competition categories include Interview, Talent, Active wear and Evening wear.
The emcee for the evening will be FOX 4’s Abby Eden. The public is invited.
The pageant will also feature raffle baskets, a people’s choice winner and a sports memorabilia auction.
Admission is $10, with children 5 and younger admitted free.
All proceeds from the evening will be awarded as college scholarships for the top three placing contestants.
