Jean R. Schwermer died Tuesday, May 28, 2013.
Jean was born Jan. 15, 1953 to Cecil J. and Lucille Martin. She grew up with three sisters in Camden. They had a completely normal childhood.
In spring 1970, she met her soul mate, Dale Schwermer and they were married in spring 1972. Dale and Jean had two sons, Marty and Jason.
As in all marriages, there were problems, and they were divorced. But because they were soul mates, they were once again married after a short time apart.
Jean leaves behind her husband, Dale, sons, Marty (Shelby) and Jason. She leaves behind six incredible grandchildren, Elizabeth, Shelby, Abbie, Corbin, Rylan and Cooper. She also leaves behind her three sisters, Judy Clark, JoAnn Burnine and Donna Kelly and their families. She leaves behind her mother-in-law and her husband, Betty and Roger Weddle; her sister-in-law and husband, Cheryl and Marty Ensor; brother-in-law, Billy Ray Schwermer; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mom and dad, Cecil and Lucille Martin; her father-in-law, Bill Schwermer; and her sister-in-law, Dianne Schwermer.
Jean is to be cremated, and there will be no services. If you didn’t go to see her while she was sick, not much point in seeing her dead! Care provided by Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service. Online guest book and obituary at www.baileycox.com.
