The Dawgs finished third in the 12-school field with 123 points. Wellington-Napoleon chalked up 165 points to take the team title, while Glasgow placed second with 151. Slater took fourth with 60 points.

Bowers also advanced with a fourth-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles with 17.28, which edged teammate Robert Hutchins for the final sectional spot.
Two Bulldogs qualified for the discus, with Colton Layman grabbing second with a distance of 118 feet, 1 inch, while teammate Lane Coldiron threw 108-9 to finish fourth.
