Carolyn Beth Bush, 62, of Richmond, died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Carolyn was born Dec. 10, 1950 in Lexington, to Eldon Thomas and Mary Elizabeth “Sugar” Harrison. She married Garry E. Bush, Sheriff of Ray County, Oct. 27, 1979. He survives of the home.
Carolyn worked for Avsco Plastics in Excelsior Springs, Fergenson Plastics in Richmond, Fowler Bus Company in Richmond for seventeen years and was office manager at Harrison Body Shop the last 10 years. She had lived in the Richmond area most of her life.
Additional survivors include; four sons, Marc E. Bush and his wife, Tracy of Rayville, Craig Carter of Kansas City, Mo., Jason E. Bush and his companion, Julie Hamilton of Richmond, Christopher P. Bush and his wife, Jackie of Richmond; two brothers, Tom W. Harrison and his wife, Donna of Danville, Calif., Michael T. Harrison and his companion, Kristy Batchelor of Richmond; five grandchildren also survive, Kyler Bush, Jakob Bush, Hunter Hamilton, Gavin Bush and Tristen Bush.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Ray County Oncology Department.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 8, at 10 a.m. at the Richmond United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Richmond United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Sunny Slope Cemetery in Richmond.
