ernoon after responding to a report of gunfire at home in the 800 block of East Lexington Street.
Police were dispatched to the house shortly before 2 p.m.
The suspect, a Richmond resident, fled from the home before police arrived, but he was arrested at 3 p.m. in the 200 block of South Camden Street.
Richmond Police Chief Chad Burnine said the arrest was made with assistance from Missouri Highway Patrol.
No charges had been filed Thursday morning, and the suspect’s name won’t be made public until the prosecutor’s office formally charges him.
