Richard Allen Warner, 73, of Richmond, and formerly of Kansas City, Mo. died Friday, April 4, 2013 at his home.
Richard was born April 20, 1939 in Lexington, to Zack and Ethel (Hurst) Warner. He married Dollie Smith of New Mexico City, N.M. May 26, 1972; she preceded him in death June 1, 2010.
Richard was a supervisor for Maher Oil Company in Kansas City, MO. Richard had lived in Kansas City most of his life. He was of the Christian faith. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Survivors include one son, Bryan Connor of Richmond; three daughters, Diana Klueber of Coon Rapids, Minn., Rhonda Hoenscheid of Elk River, Minn. and Deborah Cauthon of Marshall; three sisters, Roberta, Shirley and Naomi; 17 grandchildren, Jason Hoenscheid, Shawna and Tasha Klueber, Tyler and Briley Connor, Dana, Danny, David and Richard Frame, Gary and Dollie Connor, Britney, Danielle and Amanda Connor, Michael, Troy and Chad Gordon; and 16 great- grandchildren; and three step-sons, Mickey Connor of Warsaw, Gary Connor of Belton, and Danny Connor of Bolivar.
In addition to his parents and wife, Richard was preceded in death by one son, Raymond Connor; one daughter, Susan Gordon; and one grandson, Raymond Conner, Jr.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Richard Allen Warner memorial fund.
Graveside services will be held Friday, April 12, at 1:30 p.m. at the Longview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kansas City, Mo. where military honors will be provided.
