MONDAY, MARCH 18

Beginning at 5:15 p.m. with weigh-in, Weight Watchers will meet at the Ray County Health Department, 820 E. Lexington St., Richmond.

 

From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., T.O.P.S. meets every Monday at the Richmond United Christian Presbyterian Church at 501 N. Spartan Dr.

 

TUESDAY, MARCH 19

From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Hardin-Central will host a Scholastic Book Fair.

 

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., AARP Tax Aide Foundation will provide free tax preperation for 60 & older and low-income taxpayers at the Ray County Library Community Room.

 

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 20

From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Hardin-Central will host a Scholastic Book Fair.

 

At 1 p.m., Chapter CO of P.E.O. will meet at the home of Harriet Minnick with Nancy Brummall as the co-hostess. Social time begins at 1 p.m. with the business meeting to follow at 1:30.

 

From 4:30 to 6 p.m., The Hardin Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry will have food distribution and pick up for pre-registered Hardin-Central school district families (including Stet) at Hardin United Methodist Church. For more information or to register, call 660-398-4532.

 

THURSDAY, MARCH 21

From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Hardin-Central will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair.

FRIDAY, MARCH 22

From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Hardin-Central will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair.

 

At noon, Rotary meets weekly at The 19th Hole at Shirkey Golf Course.

 

At 6 p.m., Crowley Cemetary Association will have a board meeting at Rayville Christian Union Church.

 

At 7 p.m., the Ray County Community Arts Association presents the “LIVING LORD’S SUPPER” at the Farris Theater.  Tickets are $5.

 

SATURDAY, MARCH 23

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., nearly 30 Richmond businesses and organizations will host a Richmond Area Business Fair at Richmond City Hall Gymnasium, 205 Summit St. Door prizes every half hour starting at 9:30 a.m. Free blood pressure checks by Ray County Memorial Hospital and Health Department. The event is free to the public.

 

From 7 a.m. to noon, John W. Carter Lodge #180 will host a pancake day at 109 N. Thornton St., Richmond.  $6 donation; for more information, call  816-878-2086.

 

From 6 to 10 p.m., Richmond music jam at the Eagleton Center, 1015 W. Royle, Richmond. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the jam begins at 6 p.m. Bring your instruments or just come and listen. Donations go toward the Eagleton Center. For more information, call Florence Williams at 816-776-2998.

SUNDAY, MARCH 24

From 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., First Baptist Church, Richmond will host Celebrate Recovery led by Mike Bliss.  For general information, 816-776-2296.

 

At 10 a.m., The Richmond United Methodist Church, 212 West Main Street, Richmond will hold Palm Sunday/Passion Sunday Service during the regular worship service. The service will begin with the “procession of palms” and the Little Lambs bell choir will perform. Everyone is invited to attend. For more information call 816-776-2122.
