Kenneth W. O’Doniel, 59, of Lexington, died Friday, March 22, 2013 at his home.
Kenny was born May 8, 1953 in Lexington, to Ernest Porter and Maud (Shutt) O’Doniel.
Kenny was a 1971 graduate of Lexington High School. He was a machine operator for Tyson Foods in Concordia, for over 17 years. He was of the Christian faith. Kenny had been a Steward for U.F.C.W. Union, Local #2. He had lived in Lexington area most of his life.
Survivors include one niece, Lisa O’Doniel; one nephew, Danny O’Doniel; and several cousins.
In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry “Bud” O’Doniel, Ernest P. O’Doniel, Jr., and Ronnie Lee O’Doniel.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Friends of the Friendless.
Graveside services will be held Friday, March 29, at 10 a.m. at the Machpelah Cemetery in Lexington. The body will lie in state Thursday, March 28, from noon to 5 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
