The Richmond Daughters of the American Revolution chapter annually honors a senior from each area high school with its Good Citizen award. The awards, recognizing the qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism, were presented to (from left) Alexandria Paul, Hardin-Central; Annabelle Boehm, Lawson; Seth Thurnau, Orrick, and Kelsey Knutter, Richmond. Based on his paperwork credentials, Thurnau was nominated to compete for a DAR college scholarship. The students, their parents and guidance counselors were honored March 12 during a ceremony at Richmond United Methodist Church.
