All-conference honors for Stokes

The Spartan wrestling team had three members of its squad earn all-conference recognition from the MRVC East coaches. Only one, junior Brock Stokes, earned first-team honors.

Stokes, a state qualifier for the Spartans was selected first team at 160 pounds.

Richmond’s only other state qualifier, Kaleb Heber, a junior, received second-team honors at 220, while another RHS junior, Alex Hays, was named second team at 285.

Stokes was also the lone Spartan wrestler named to the academic all-conference team.
