MONDAY, FEBRUARY 18

Beginning at 5:15 p.m. with weigh-in, Weight Watchers will meet at the Ray County Health Department, 820 E. Lexington St., Richmond.

 

From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., T.O.P.S. meets every Monday at the Richmond United Christian Presbyterian Church at 501 N. Spartan Dr.

 

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 19

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., AARP Tax Aide Foundation will provide free tax preparation for residents 60 and older and low-income taxpayers at the Ray County Library Community Room.

 

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 20

From 5:30 to 7 p.m., Fleming Baptist Church food pantry will be open.  Please bring your own boxes.

 

At 1 p.m., Chapter CO of P.E.O. will meet at the home of Patti Bamman with Jo Cole as the co-hostess. Social time begins at 1 p.m. with the business meeting to follow at 1:30.

 

From 4:30 to 6 p.m., The Hardin Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry will have food distribution and pick up for preregistered Hardin School District Families (This includes Stet) at the Hardin United Methodist Church. For more information or to register, please call 660-398-4532.

From 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Richmond Masonic Lodge hosts a fish and mountain oyster fry at its lodge, 315 Clark St. in Richmond. Individual meals are $8 and  family fish buckets are $18. Call 816-726-0544 for delivery.

 

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 23

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., St. John C.M.E. Church at  1625 E. Main, Richmond will host a chili & soup dinner.  $7 a head, with drinks and dessert provided.

 

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Fundraiser for Relay for Life will be held at the Assembly of God Church, 303 S. College St., Richmond.  Vegetable soup, potato soup, grill cheese, dessert and a drink for $5 donation.  Delivery inside city limits by calling 816-686-4977 or 816-519-7886.

Meeting times for Richmond AA and Al-Anon are:  Mondays noon and 8 p.m., Tuesdays noon and 8 p.m., Wednesdays at noon, Thursdays at noon, Fridays noon and 8 p.m. (open meetings), Saturdays noon and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 10 a.m. Open meetings include the first and third Fridays and a 6 p.m. Sunday Big Book Study. Al-Anon meets at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays. Both groups meet at 304 W. Franklin St., Richmond.
