Delbert H. Plummer, 82, lifelong Richmond resident, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013 at his home.
He was born May 10, 1930 in Richmond. He was raised by his grandparents, Jim and May Sperbeck, along with his mother Florence.
Delbert Served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was married to Beverly Jean (Bowers) Plummer and she preceded him in death in 1992. On May 14, 2005, he married Lois “Jean” (Miller) Webb Plummer who survives of the home.
Delbert was employed by Greens Ready Mix in Excelsior Springs for more than 40 years before retiring in 1993.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Richmond VFW.
Besides his wife Jean, Delbert is survived by two daughters, Michelle Dale and husband Allen, Linda Garrison and husband Keith; one brother, Wayne Eupev; two stepbrothers, Dale Thomason and wife Laura and Brian Thomason; two stepsisters, Kathy Thomason and Gerry Tevlin; four granddaughters, Rhiannon and D.J. Schmidt, Stephanie Dale, Katherine Dale and Heather Garrison and two great-grandchildren, Atticus St. John and Jadyn Schmidt.
