Rose Marie Eubanks, 70, of Richmond, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Rose was born Jan. 27, 1942 in Kansas City, Mo. to Audria F. McElfresh. She married to Howard Eubanks; he later preceded her in death.
Rose was a dietitian and also the dietary department at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond. She had also worked at Whitaker’s Cable in Excelsior Springs. Rose was of the Christian faith. She had lived in the Richmond area most of her life.
Survivors include two sons, Robert and Patricia Ray Pettijohn of Kansas City, Mo. and Lonnie Wess Pettijohn of Kansas City; one granddaughter, Mandy Sue Myer; and two great-grandchildren, Rebecca Sue Myers and Hunter Wayne Myers; step-son, John Eubanks and his wife, Susan of Lee’s Summit; and step-daughter, Mary Eubanks of Fort Mojave, Ariz.
In addition to her parents and husband, Rose was preceded in death by one sister, Anna McElfresh.
Memorial graveside services will be held Thursday, Jan. 31, at 2 p.m. at the Kincaid Cemetery north of Richmond.
