Robin L. Hughes, 49, of Hardin, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013 at her home.
Robin was born Feb. 17, 1963 in Omaha, Neb. to Robert and Brenda (Flippo) Campbell. She married Jesse Hughes, Sr. of Hardin Oct. 14, 2006; he survives of the home.
Additional survivors include her father, Robert Campbell of Gladstone; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Casey Jantzen of Gladstone; one daughter and son-in-law, Rachelle and Aaron Hall of Kansas City, Mo.; one brother, Danny and Christine Campbell of Austin, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and John Evans of Pleasant Hill; 11 grandchildren, Nichole Jantzen, Kayley Hall, Hunter Hughes, Kysor Hughes, Taven Hughes, Kwame Kelly, Maysa Kelly, Sandalynn Morris, Teagan Morris, Dalton Strickland and Kyra Hughes; three step-sons, Jesse Lee Hughes, Jr., of Hardin, Chad Earl Hughes of Versailles and Christopher Hughes of Richmond; and two step-daughters, Sacha Morris of Holt Summit and Melissa Hughes of Houston, Texas.
Robin worked in sales for Texaco and other convenient stores in the Claycomo area for 15 years. She was member of Powell Gardens. She lived in the Kansas City area before moving to Hardin in 2004. She was a member of the Hardin United Methodist Church.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Robin L. Hughes Memorial Fund.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 19, at 10:30 a.m. at Hardin United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Trotter Cemetery, northeast of Norborne.
