Robert S. May

Robert S. May, 88, of Lenexa, Kan., passed away Jan. 7, 2013.

He married Pauline Ratcliffe May 12, 1963. Robert was employed at K.C. Parks & Recreation for a number of years and retired in 1989. He was ordained a deacon in the RLDS Church Sept. 28, 1986.  Robert served in the U.S. Army from 1942 -1954.

Robert is survived by his wife of 49 years,  Pauline Alice May; Stepdaughters, Carol Davis (Joseph) and Ruth Carter; Stepson, Roy Ratcliffe (Sherry); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a nephew, James May.

A memorial service was held Jan. 9, at 1 p.m. at the Restoration Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 919 S. Delaware, Independence.
