To the Editor:
I would like to commend the city of Richmond for its recent quick response to a hazardous condition.
I informed the city via its Web site about an open cistern at the corner of South Main Street and Highway 13.
The hole was approximately 4 feet in diameter and was partially covered with a thin sheet of plywood. A child could have easily fallen in with disastrous results.
Two days after I reported this, the hole was filled and graded over. Thank You and Good Job!
