Georgia Elizabeth White Gardner Thomas, 49, of Excelsior Springs, formerly of Richmond, lost her courageous battle with cancer Nov. 28, 2012. She was surrounded by family and friends.
Georgia was born March 17, 1963 to George and Rosemary (McCridle) of Richmond. She was married to Russell Gardner of Richmond from that union a daughter Ava Rose was born. She later married Robert Thomas of Harrisonville. She was preceded in death by both husbands. She was also preceded in death by her father, George Jesse White; one brother, George Jr., and one sister, Karen.
She is survived by her daughter Ava Rose Happy, of Excelsior Springs, four grandchildren and one stepson. Additional survivors are her mother, Rosemary White, two older sisters, Connie Templeton and Mary Clark and two older brothers, William (Bob) White and Gene A. White; two aunts; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephew and cousins.
Georgia’s family extends their sincere thanks to all who contributed to her memorial.
