Hardin-Central raced out to a 23-3 lead after the first 8 minutes and was never threatened as the Dawgs thumped visiting Northwest of Mendon 71-33 Thursday night. Hardin-Central improved to 5-3 overall and has split its four CLAA contests.

Sanders handled a bulk of Northwestern’s scoring as he knocked down five more 3-pointers on the way to scoring a game-high 25 points. In addition to his long-distance shooting, Sanders made 7 of his 10 free throws.
