Jean Falls, 84, of Hardin, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at the North Care Hospice House in North Kansas City.
Jean was born March 11, 1928 in Carroll County, to Henry E. and Agnes Lenora (Albrecht) Henderson. She married Eldred C. “Curly” Falls of Norborne, Sept. 7, 1946; he preceded her in death March 3, 2002.
Jean was a 1946 graduate of Norborne High School. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Rockingham Church of the Brethern. She worked at Banquet Foods in Carrollton and also worked in housekeeping at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond. Jean was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Hardin. She had lived in the Hardin area most of her life.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, William E. “Bill” and Thurza Falls of Richmond, and Curtis D. “Poncho” and Diane Falls of Hardin; one sister, Dorothy Horine of Carrollton; four grandchildren and their spouses, Brian and Barbara Falls, Amy and Dereck Wansing, Bill Falls and April and Kevin Pugh; and eight great-grandchildren, Christian, Courtney, Alex, Brice and Beth Falls, Korbin, Kameron and Kolt Pugh.
In addition to her parents and husband, Jean was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Weigel and Opal Stark.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Fairhaven Cemetery in Norborne.
