The Hardin-Central Bulldogs found their first CLAA victory of the season Tuesday night. The Dawgs jumped out early and cruised to a 73-35 win over visiting Bosworth for their first league win in three tries, while also improving to 4-3 overall.
After leading 18-6 entering the second period, Hardin-Central took most of the suspense out of the outcome with a 29-8 scoring surge giving the home team a 47-14 cushion at the break.
Bosworth hit four 3-point buckets in the third quarter to keep pace with Hardin-Central, but the hometown Dawgs took a 67-31 lead into the final 8 minutes over the visiting Bulldogs.
Hardin-Central had two players reach double digits with Lane Coldiron hitting for 14 points, while Zak Finley came off the bench to score 11. Coldiron also grabbed 4 rebounds, with Finley pulling down 5. Wyatt Craven chipped in 9 points and Cole Leakey added 8 points and 9 rebounds.
