A hot-shooting Hardin-Central squad picked up its third win in a row Tuesday night as they defeated visiting Hale 69-23.
The Bulldogs hit 57 percent of their 57 shots, while the defense limited the Cardinals to just 29 percent in 27 attempts from the field.
Three Dawgs scored in double figures as Hardin-Central improved to 6-3 overall and 3-2 in the CLAA. Zak Finley hit 6 of his 7 shots as he scored a game-high 12 points, followed by Clif Kugler and Matt Hymiller with 10 points apiece.
Also scoring for Hardin-Central were Leonard Chilcutt with 7, Colton Layman with 6, while Hank Bowers, Wyatt Craven, Mitchell White, Cole Leakey and Lane Coldiron chipped in 4 points each.
Josh Smith and Steve Bradley had 2 points apiece. Bowers led the defensive effort with 5 of the Bulldogs’ 19 steals, with Kugler and Layman grabbing 3 each.
