Louis Clarence Jackson, II, 57 of Lexington, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012 at Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington.
Louis was born Sept. 30, 1955 in Washington, D.C. to Louis C. and Mozell (Goodwin) Jackson I. He married Sheila A. Frakes of Higginsville Sept. 3, 1986; she survives of the home.
Louis worked in the maintenance department at Ray County Courthouse for several years. He also worked at the waste water plant in Richmond and Susie’s 10-13 Diner in Richmond. He was of the Christian faith. Louis had lived in the Ray and Lafayette areas.
Additional survivors include one son, Cory Frakes of Lexington; two daughters and one son-in-law, Ladena and Dave West of Parkville, and Selina Hampton of Lexington; six grandchildren; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Ann and Walter Randolph of Kansas City, Mo. and Ceola Jackson of Richmond; and several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Louis Clarence Jackson II memorial fund.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, at 2 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 20, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
