David Keith High, 21, of Rayville, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012 from injuries sustained in a one car accident north of Richmond.
David was born on Nov. 29, 1990 in Liberty, the son of Darell G. and Laurel A. (Scott) High.
David was a 2008 graduate of the Richmond High School where he enjoyed playing football. David was a self-employed laborer in the Richmond and Rayville areas. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Rayville.
Survivors include: his father and step-mother, Darell and Christina High of Raytown, , step-mother, Tina Reaves of Belton; step-father, Ronald Campbell, of Rayville; his mother and companion, Laurel A. Campbell and Tom Hartman of Rayville; three brothers, Curtis High of Richmond, Andrew Campbell of the home and Kian High of Belton; one sister, Chelsea Campbell of the home; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Alta High of Wasola; maternal grandparents, Tommie and Shirley Scott of Excelsior Springs; paternal great-grandmother, Vada Smith of Longrun; maternal grandmother Sara Campbell girlfriend, Amanda Pigg of Rayville; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
David was preceded in death by his cousin, Allyson Shroyer.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Rayville. Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 11, from noon to 2 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Crowley Cemetery in Rayville.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the David Keith High memorial fund.
Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
