Three sent to area hospital from two-vehicle wreck
Ray County Ambulance EMTs (at left) prepare its last passenger for transport to Liberty Hospital in a two-vehicle injury accident that injured three around 9:05 a.m. Wednesday. Two vehicles collided at Highway 210 and Swofford Road, when a vehicle driven by Paula K. Richmond, 60, of Independence cut into the path of a car driven by James S. McCoy, 42, of Norborne. Richmond was attempting to turn onto Swofford Road from Highway 210, according to the Highway Patrol crash report. McCoy’s passenger, Wendy D. McCoy, 38, of Norborne was also injured.
