Ray County Library will host beginner computer classes starting January 2012. Classes include:
• Introduction to Computers – computer terminology and component identification, operating a mouse and a basic introduction to the Internet.
• Surfing the Web – how to use web addresses and search engines more proficiently and education to protect computer users on the Internet.
• E-mail Accounts – e-mail terminology and how to operate and organize e-mail accounts.
Classes meet for one hour once a week for four weeks. Classes will be 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursdays and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Final dates will depend on the number of registrants for each class.

Registration will consist of full name, telephone number and a non-refundable $10 deposit. Deadline to register is Friday, Dec. 16.
