The Elms Resort and Spa was the setting at 5 p.m., Friday, August 20 for the wedding of Corissa Elizabeth Johnson to Justin Lee Hamilton.
The couple were joined in a double ring ceremony officiated by Rodney
Hamilton. Parents of the bride are Danny and Natalie Johnson of Trenton, and Brian and Mindy Williams of Richmond; grandparents are Kenneth Johnson and Jim and Linda Mullikin of Richmond.Parents of the groom are Rodney and Kimberly Hamilton; grandparents are Marshall and Ann Simpson and Joan Hamilton, all of Richmond. The Elm’s gardens. The wedding had a color theme of lemongrass and mocha. The music consisted of traditional selections performed by Joseph Toma, a violinist and family friend. The bride was escorted by her father and wore a white beaded tiered tulle gown with a sweetheart neckline. Her veil was a birdcage style with satin embellishments. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of green hydrangeas and white roses. Following the ceremony, a dinner-dance
reception followed in The Elm’s Grand Ballroom for family and friends.
The couple currently resides in Richmond.
