Whitney Blair Trosper and Daniel Clifton Renfro exchanged wedding vows Sept. 25, 2010 in an outdoor ceremony at the Historic Isaiah Mansur Farmstead in Richmond. Pastor Curt Wilhelmsen officiated at the 5 p.m. nuptials. Due to weather, the wedding took place inside the white-peaked reception tent artfully lit with tree branch chandeliers and wedding colors of marigold and granite. Guests enjoyed the sounds of a live musical trio. The bride’s attendants wore gold and grey floral dresses. The groom and attendants were attired in grey suits and golden colored ties. The bride’s gown featured a fitted ruche bodice and trumpet hemline. One floral embellished shoulder strap was removed following the ceremony and replaced with a vintage diamond and pearl necklace for dinner and dancing.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Sandy Trosper of Hamilton and the granddaughter of Ina Faye Trosper and the late Dean R. Trosper of Hamilton, and the late Duane and Ella Wheeler Palmer of Kingston. The groom is the son of Bruce and Judi Renfro of Richmond and the grandson of the late Charles and Ruby Renfro of Millville and the late Cliff and Esther Oliphant of Richmond.
The bride’s sisters, Lindsey DeWitte of Kansas City and Mallory Trosper of Columbia, Mo. served as matron and maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Adrienne Hatcher of Macon, Mo., Courtney Hosman of Hamilton and Lacy Short of Masonville, Iowa. Best man was Kip Kleeman of Braymer and groomsmen were Lance Burditt of St. Louis, Brian Lary of Granger, Ind., Tyler Best of Lee’s Summit and Kyle Newham of New Franklin, Mo.
Other wedding ceremony participants were ushers Travis Coats, Gabe DeWitte, Jonathan Leach, Guy Loneragan, Ryan McKinzie, Jonathon Renfro, Ryan Schmidt and Kyle Tracy. Junior ushers were Keegan Sharp and Devin Trosper. Readers during the ceremony were Gretchen and Sarah Renfro. Bell ringers included: Tate and Trey Hatcher; Brandon, Julia, Carter and Emma Kanoy; Allie and Zane Renfro; Logan and Trey Sharp; and Garrett, Tyler, Ali and Ethan Trosper. Guest book attendants were Jacki Johnson and Morgan Trosper.
Whitney, a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, with a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management is currently a real estate sales executive with Prudential Kansas City Realty serving Kansas City and the surrounding area. Daniel is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, with a B.S. Animal Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and is currently practicing at Renfro Veterinary Services in Richmond. They have made their home in Millville.
