Nichols celebrate 40th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nichols of Richmond celebrated their 40th anniversary Sunday, Nov. 28. Their children hosted an open house at the Ray County Library Community Room in Richmond from 2 to 4 p.m., friends and family attended.
Bob and Marilyn were married Nov. 27, 1970 in Richmond and are pictured above on their wedding day. They have a daughter and son-in-law, Kristina and Jeff Rechtermann of Hardin; a son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Amanda Nichols of Richmond; and grandchildren: Austin and Alyssa Rechtermann and Tatum and Taylor McGlothlin. Bob and Marilyn both retired in 2003. Bob retired from MoDOT and Marilyn from Circuit Court Division 3 in Lafayette County. (Submitted photo)
