Wentworth opened an 18-7 lead over visiting Hardin-Central Monday night and then rolled on to a 66-41 victory.
The Dragons, now 14-9, were led by Bobby Fray’s game-high 27 points. Fray got the night started with a pair of 3-point buckets and 10 points in the first period, and then added 10 more points in the second quarter as Wentworth built a 35-16 lead at the break.
An 18-14 scoring advantage in the third quarter helped push the Dragons to a 53-30 lead entering the final 8 minutes.
