After struggling to find victories this season, the Hardin-Central Bulldogs will most certainly enjoy Tuesday night’s win.
Not only was it just the second victory of the season, but it also came at the expense of long-time rival Norborne – and as an added bonus – came in double overtime.
Jake Harris scored a season-high 24 points with 6 of those coming in the second overtime as the Dawgs stopped visiting Norborne 53-48. Harris hit two of his four 3-point buckets in the fourth period as he scored 11 of his nightly total. He then knocked down another 3-pointer and 3 of his 4 free throw attempts in the second overtime.
Hardin-Central held an 11-10 lead after the first 8 minutes, 19-15 lead at the half and 27-26 entering the fourth period.
