The Orrick Lady Bearcats’ season-low score was enough to win a dual with St. Paul’s of Concordia 232-271 Wednesday.
Coach Courtney Adams said her girls are beginning to play more consistently. Kristee Harris was the medalist for the afternoon at the Shirkey Golf Course with a 52 on the par-38 layout. Bailey Schreier followed with 56, with Bailee Jeffries carding a 60, Alyssa Sands shot 64 and Kailyn Dowell shot a 70. Deena Wienberg had the low score for the Saints with 63.
On Monday Orrick dropped a home dual to Odessa 249-224. Coach Adams said her girls have been showing improvement, but will need to focus on their short game to help them lower scores.
Odessa’s Emily Fowler had the low round of the day with a 51. Harris had the low Orrick total with 56. Schreier shot 63, followed by Dowell with 64, Jeffries with 66 and Sands with 67.
