A Polo man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for using a child to produce child pornography and for receiving and possessing child pornography.
Terry R. Ingerson, 44, of Polo, was charged in a four-count indictment returned by a federal grand jury in Kansas City on Wednesday, May 20 according to Matt J. Whitworth, acting United States attorney for the Western District of Missouri.
The federal indictment alleges that, between May 1 and Aug. 30, 2008, Ingerson used a minor to produce child pornography. Ingerson is also charged with one count of receiving child pornography over the Internet in April 2008 and two counts of possessing child pornography in March 2009.
The indictment also contains a forfeiture allegation, which would require Ingerson to forfeit to the government any property used to commit the alleged offense, including a computer.
