While many Richmond residents were clearing off sidewalks on Saturday, Richmond Police were clearing accidents.
Police cleared four one-vehicle crashes in a four and half hour time period Saturday morning beginning just after 6 a.m.
Police also worked another accident later in the afternoon that was not listed as snow related in a report released yesterday by police.
Only one of the crashes required the driver to be transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Jamie R. Hoffman, 20, of Lexington, was transported by Ray County Ambulance to Ray County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries but the 1999 Chevrolet Hoffman was driving suffered major damage. The accident occurred about one half mile south of Chapel Drive on Highway 13.
None of the other three drivers in the other snow related accidents suffered injuries, and damage to their vehicles was minor to moderate.
According to the report all four vehicles slid off the road.
