Construction workers and vacation goers now have a place to stay near Hardin.
The Hardin Board of Aldermen gave final approval to property owner Jason Raasch to build an 11 stall mobile home park in the city.
Raasch has been pursuing the complex since last summer when he initially presented the idea to the board. Some skepticism came from board members and Public Works Director Larry Eastley.
The city and Raasch debated back and forth the last several months over sewer line drops and the amount of waste that the park would produce.
The board and Raasch agreed on a deal that would also give the city a minimum water fee for the park’s usage.
Raasch needs to obtain some elevation figures and then a building permit will be issued.
