Schirmer, Compton to wed

Mark and Wendy Schirmer of Gladstone, would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Schirmer, to Derek Compton, son of Terry and Kim Compton of Richmond.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Oak Park High School and will graduate Dec. 2009 from Missouri Western State University with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education.
The groom-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Richmond High School and will graduate from UMKC in May with a Doctorate of Pharmacy.
A June 7, 2009 wedding and reception is planned at The Liberty Hills Country Club in Liberty.
