ADAMS’ CELEBRATE 50 YEARS OF WEDDED BLISS

Tom and Kathryn Adams of Richmond, are celebrating 50 years of marriage Dec. 27, 2008. Kathryn Eudora Clark, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Clark of King City, Mo., married George Thomas Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Adams of King City, Dec. 27, 1958 at the First Christian Church of King City.
The couple moved to Richmond in 1964 after graduating from Northwest Missouri State University and teaching and coaching in Fairfax, Mo. Tom joined the Spartan football coaching staff in 1964 and became head coach in 1966. He taught math at RHS from 1964 to 2004 and retired from coaching after the 1986 football season. His coaching included the 1971 AAA State Championship and he was recently inducted into the Missouri State Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2007. Kathryn teaches piano and worked as a kindergarten aide for many years. The couple are active members of the United Christian Presbyterian Church. They enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren, Jeffery and Kim Adams; Zachary, Hannah and Noah, of Clinton; and Doug and Julie Day, Abigail and Megan of Liberty.
