Two current elected Richmond City Councilmen will seek another term in April.
Current Mayor Pro Tem Scott Marshall will seek another term in the fourth ward, while first ward Councilman Tom Williams will seek a one-year term.
The other first ward Councilman, Scott Spiers, will try to win his first election to the city council. Spiers was appointed to the council in August to replace former Councilman Chris Keen who was impeached in June.
Keen told The Daily News last week that he planned on filing to run again.
Former councilman and last year’s Richmond Chamber of Commerce President Roger Kepple has filed to run for a seat on the council from the second ward.
Jim Dunwoodie has filed to run for an open seat in the third ward.
